Assessment of SQL and NoSQL Systems to Store and Mine COVID-19 Data

COVID-19 has provoked enormous negative impacts on human lives and the world economy. In order to help in fight against this pandemic, study evaluates different databases’ systems selects most suitable for storing, handling, mining data. We evaluate SQL NoSQL database using following metrics: query runtime, memory used, CPU storage size. The databases assessed were Microsoft Server, MongoDB, Cassandra. also Data Mining algorithms, including Decision Trees, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression Orange software data classification tests. Classification tests performed cross-validation a table with about 3 M records, exams patients’ symptoms. Forest algorithm obtained best average accuracy, recall, precision, F1 Score predictive model stage. performance evaluation, MongoDB presented results almost all large volume.
