AUTHENTIC MATERIALS AS A MEANS OF CULTURAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS

چکیده

This article is devoted to the problem of formation students’ cultural competence. The authors consider study English through prism competence, since language and culture are closely related each other. paper also describes a few techniques which encourage development intercultural competence proposed in some studies, particular, comparative approach. Special attention paid possible ways motivating students with different backgrounds levels knowledge integrate into cohesive productive classroom, as well importance theory collaborative learning noted. What’s more, causes can seriously affect speech described, e.g. indifference their interlocutors, no matter, it real or perceived. On other hand, long supposed speak openly, they prone expressing thoughts more freely, what makes easier for them overcome shyness, contributes free assimilation language. Teachers participate authentic personally meaningful, sessions case allow learners suggest topics discussions, choose materials, present these issues class. Teaching share points view, lecturers promote socially culturally engaged autonomy.When contemporary social context provided, have opportunity control assess own process become part community. In addition, presents various options using materials classroom.
