چکیده
The mastoid air cell system (MACS) protects the structures in ear and regulates pressure cavity. MACS segmentation is very difficult because of many overlapping object characteristics temporal bone. This study aims to accurately identify measure areas from CT-scan images mastoiditis patients. data tested consisted 128 CT 13 different Images were taken using Siemens SOMATOM Perspective Scanner model 10662260 axially. extended Adaptive Threshold (eAT) method was developed produce optimal threshold values for each test image. Furthermore, eAT results are used convert image into a binary then applied identification extraction automatically reconstruction 2D 3D images. Smaller sizes indicate inflammation bone require intensive care. Thus, this research can be help doctors make right decisions carrying out further medical actions.

Automated Identification of Fiducial Points on 3D Torso Images
Breast reconstruction is an important part of the breast cancer treatment process for many women. Recently, 2D and 3D images have been used by plastic surgeons for evaluating surgical outcomes. Distances between different fiducial points are frequently used as quantitative measures for characterizing breast morphology. Fiducial points can be directly marked on subjects for direct anthropometry,...

The watershed based cell reconstruction is a common approach to segment the cell system of foams and polycrystals. To avoid segmentation errors, a proper parametrisation of the algorithm is necessary. In this work, we propose a marker based method whose parameters are automatically adapted to the observed structure. The result is a nearly perfect cell reconstruction with segmentation errors bel...
