متن کاملAutomatic Derivation and Implementation of Signal Processing Algorithms † Sebastian Egner
We present a computer algebra framework to automatically derive and implement algorithms for digital signal processing. The two main parts of the framework are AREP, a library for symbolic manipulation of group representations and structured matrices, and SPL, a compiler turning matrix expressions into efficient imperative-style numerical programs.
متن کاملEvaluating Performance of Algorithms in Lung IMRT: A Comparison of Monte Carlo, Pencil Beam, Superposition, Fast Superposition and Convolution Algorithms
Background: Inclusion of inhomogeneity corrections in intensity modulated small fields always makes conformal irradiation of lung tumor very complicated in accurate dose delivery. Objective: In the present study, the performance of five algorithms via Monte Carlo, Pencil Beam, Convolution, Fast Superposition and Superposition were evaluated in lung cancer Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy plannin...
متن کاملFast algorithms for the maximum convolution problem
We describe two algorithms for solving the maximum convolution problem, i.e. the calculation of c k := maxfa k?i + b i j 0 i n ? 1g for all k with respect to given se-1) of real numbers. Our rst algorithm with expected running time O(n logn) is mainly of theoretical interest while our second algorithm allows a simpler, more practicable implementation and showed quite fast performance in numeric...
