چکیده
Bacterial blight (BB) caused by X. oryzae pv. is one of the devastating diseases rice mostly in Asia. Genomes highly variable due to rearrangement large contents transposable elements and dynamic changes population regulated efficiency control measures used for BB management worldwide. In this study, genetic variation pathotypes Bangladesh was studied using aviruelnce gene based RFLP rep-PCR techniques aimed formulate pathogen targeted effective against rice. Eight field isolates were identified on their reactions 10 Near Isogenic Lines (NILs). Among eight pathotypes, IV V contained higher number which 30.13% 23.01% respectively while pathotype VIII revealed as minimum containing only 2.51% total isolates. These avrBs3 repeat domain probe. The results conceded that Bangladeshi strains seem carrying a two maximum nine family genes homologs. resistance phenotype IRBB7 IRBB10 NILs also indicated presence major viz. avrxa7 avrXa10 some pathotypes. Relationship phylogenicity exhibited assorted into haplotypes well these are largely distributed Bangladesh. Phylogenetic analyses carried out (REP, ERIC), BOX depicted main molecular relationship between same lineage possesses different might have originated from common inherited with wide variation.

Antagonistic Interactions Between Strains of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae.
ABSTRACT The ability of some phytopathogenic bacterial strains to inhibit the growth of others in mixed infections has been well documented. Here we report that such antagonistic interactions occur between several wild-type strains of the rice bacterial blight pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. In mixed inoculations, a wild-type Philippine strain was found to inhibit the growth of a wild-t...
متن کاملPopulation genomic insights into variation and evolution of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae
Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae ( Xoo) is a serious pathogen of rice causing bacterial leaf blight disease. Resistant varieties and breeding programs are being hampered by the emergence of highly virulent strains. Herein we report population based whole genome sequencing and analysis of 100 Xoo strains from India. Phylogenomic analysis revealed the clustering of Xoo strains from India along with ...

Bacterial leaf blight (BLB) of rice is a very destructive disease worldwide and is caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). The aim of the present study was to examine if the Xoo virulence pathotypes obtained using phenotypic pathotyping could be confirmed using molecular approach. After screening of 60 Operon primers with genomic DNA of two Xoo isolates (virulent pathotype, Vr, and mildl...

متن کاملStationary-phase variation due to transposition of novel insertion elements in Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae.
Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae causes bacterial leaf blight, a serious disease of rice. Spontaneous mutants which are deficient for virulence and extracellular polysaccharide (Eps) production accumulate in large numbers in stationary-phase cultures of this bacterium, a phenomenon which we have called stationary-phase variation. A clone (pSD1) carrying the Eps biosynthetic gene (gum) cluster of X...
