Axial Compression Behavior of Recycled Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Short Columns after High Temperature

This article is devoted to study the axial compression behaviour of recycled concrete-filled steel tubular (RCFST) columns after high temperature. Several members’ internal mechanisms are analyzed by combining experimental and finite element analysis (FEA). Firstly, failure mode members studied experiments. Then, based on correct constitutive relationship between concrete steel, model established ABAQUS software, theoretical verification carried out, which in good agreement. The effects different parameters such as temperature, substitution rate, bond strength coefficient whole load-strain curve compared. results show that bearing capacity decreases with increase temperature replacement rate. core has little effect specimen’s overall compressive mechanical properties. interaction force P rises slightly along height at peak load, it gradually moves away from cover. In square section, corners stress concentration, bulge deformation occurs first under condition compression.
