چکیده
Introduction-Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate procedure (BMAC) is a novel regenerative technique. Aim-to show BMAC's success in relieving osteoarthritic knee sufferings Iraqi patients. Methods-It retrospective, descriptive investigation of 300 patients who suffered from grades 1-3 Kellgren-Lawrence Grading for knees, aged (35- 64) years, both genders after oral consent at "Al Zahrawy Center Stem Cells" Baghdad over six months. The investigators utilize verbal pain scale evaluation. Results-Of patients, 195 (65 %) were women; the commoner had grade two. Sixty-four (21.3 discontinue their follow-up. Grade three manifest inadequate response. A single injection BMAC good effect on score and night stiffness. There 143 (47 still suffering sixth month, while 95 (31.6 required extra BMAC. Conclusion-It first successful report sufferings.

Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate-Enhanced Marrow Stimulation of Chondral Defects
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from bone marrow play a critical role in osteochondral repair. A bone marrow clot forms within the cartilage defect either as a result of marrow stimulation or during the course of the spontaneous repair of osteochondral defects. Mobilized pluripotent MSCs from the subchondral bone migrate into the defect filled with the clot, differentiate into chondrocytes and os...
متن کاملThe triad of osteobiology – Rehydrating calcium phosphate with bone marrow aspirate concentrate for the treatment of bone marrow lesions
The topic of bone marrow lesions has been more widely discussed in recent years, especially in the knee literature. One such procedure to treat this pathology is back-filling the lesion with bone substitute materials, calcium phosphate (CaP), as just one example. This technique uses the principle of osteoconduction, CaP mimicking the composition of subchondral bone and creating a scaffold for b...
متن کاملThe Basic Science of Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate in Chondral Injuries
There has been great interest in bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) as a cost effective method in delivering mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to aid in the repair and regeneration of cartilage defects. Alongside MSCs, BMAC contains a range of growth factors and cytokines to support cell growth following injury. However, there is paucity of information relating to the basic science underlying ...
