The configuration of the battery-supercapacitor as a hybrid power source (HPS) is one solution to overcome limitations battery life, such in an electric vehicle. To achieve energy savings when supercapacitor added, control scheme needed. This paper proposes current sharing using Fuzzy Supervisory Control (FSC). FSC designed determine how much and need discharge based on requirement load. output will produce reference which then controlled main closed-loop Proportional-Integral (PI) controller. signal form duty cycle used regulate through DC/DC converter. tested resistive load change scenario both simulation experimental. results show that can be according loading conditions.
