Recovery from substance abuse disorders (SUDs) is a lifelong process of change. Self-tracking technologies have been proposed by the recovery community as beneficial design space to support people adopting positive lifestyles and behaviors in their recovery. To explore potential this space, we designed deployed technology probe consisting mobile app, wearable visualization, ambient display enable track reflect on activities they adopted process. With conducted four-week exploratory field study with 17 adults early investigate 1) what desire track, 2) how perceive self-tracking tools relation process, 3) digital resources can provide aid Our findings illustrate array that recovery, along usage scenarios, preferences tensions arose.
