Bearings Health Monitoring Based on Frequency-Domain Vibration Signals Analysis

Rotating machine health monitoring is critical for system safety, cost savings, and increased reliability. The need a simple accurate fault diagnosis method has led to the development of various techniques. They incorporate vibration, motor’s current signature, acoustic emission signals analysis in condition monitoring. So, based on using vibration signal analysis, test rig was built bearing identification. replicates investigates problems, such as those found inner outer races. An accelerometer, type ADXL335, interfaced data acquisition device (DAQ USB-6215) collecting under operating circumstances. In addition, load cell embedded with rig, digital panel meter, used recording applied bearings. time-domain technique after acquiring at states. Then, converted frequency domain fast Fourier transform, result analyzed investigate generated frequencies. Finally, obtained frequencies were compared theoretical values extracted from equations, proved its effectiveness detecting generated.
