Offshore wind energy development is driven by ongoing research and to determine technological issues connected with offshore turbines. A fundamental design difficulty the turbine foundations. By far, one of most commonly practiced foundation systems mono helical pile foundations because their simplicity resilience. Most studies on piles were focused granular soils few clayey soils. However, in under combined loading remain be examined. Hence, a series three-dimensional finite element analyses carried out predict uplift lateral capacity embedded soft clay. The numerical model verified using results from analytical small-scale laboratory test. used simulate behavior condition considering different number plates. reveal that decreased when was subjected load, maximum reduction 12% observed provided single plate for an applied 50% ultimate load. influence load also increased bending moment pile.
