چکیده

A bstract In this sequel to [1], we take up a second approach in bending the Bruhat-Tits tree. Inspired by BTZ black hole connection, demonstrate that one can transplant it tree, at cost of defining novel “exponential function” on p-adic numbers is hinted BT We PGL(2 , Q p ) Wilson lines [2] evaluated analogue connection indeed consistent with correlation functions CFT finite temperatures. these results match tensor network reconstruction AdS/CFT different cutoff surface asymptotic boundary, and give explicit coordinate transformations relate background “pure” tree background. This an interesting demonstration despite purported lack descendents CFTs, there exists non-trivial local Weyl corresponding diffeomorphism

The Bruhat - Tits tree of SL ( 2 )

The groupGL2(R) acts on the space of all symmetric 2× 2 real matrices: X : S 7−→ XS X . It preserves the open cone C of positive definite matrices. The quotient PGL2(R) = GL2(R)/{scalars} therefore acts on the space P(C), which is the quotient of suchmatrices modulo positive scalars. The isotropy subgroup of I is the image O(2) in PGL2(R) of O(2), so that P(C) may be identified with PGL2(R)/O(2...

Nonrational Genus Zero Function Fields and the Bruhat-tits Tree

Let K be a function field with constant field k and let ∞ be a fixed place of K. Let C be the Dedekind domain consisting of all those elements of K which are integral outside ∞. The group G = GL2(C) is important for a number of reasons. For example, when k is finite, it plays a central role in the theory of Drinfeld modular curves. Many properties follow from the action of G on its associated B...

The Bruhat – Tits buildings over higher dimensional local fields

A generalization of the Bruhat–Tits buildings for the groups PGL(V ) over n-dimensional local fields was introduced in [P1]. The main object of the classical Bruhat–Tits theory is a simplicial complex attached to any reductive algebraic group G defined over a field K . There are two parallel theories in the case where K has no additional structure or K is a local (or more generally, complete di...

The Bruhat-Tits building of a p-adic Chevalley group and an application to representation theory

This thesis is concerned with the structure theory of generalized Levi subgroups G of simply-connected Chevalley groups defined over a finite extension of a p-adic field. We present a geometric parameterization of this structure known as the Bruhat-Tits building B(G). The building facilitates visualizing and reasoning about the structure ofG, and therefore has applications to all things related...

Bruhat-tits Buildings and Analytic Geometry

This paper provides an overview of the theory of Bruhat-Tits buildings. Besides, we explain how Bruhat-Tits buildings can be realized inside Berkovich spaces. In this way, Berkovich analytic geometry can be used to compactify buildings. We discuss in detail the example of the special linear group. Moreover, we give an intrinsic description of Bruhat-Tits buildings in the framework of non-Archim...
