چکیده
Abstract Determining potential abilities of nanostructures to induce toxicity biological molecules is still a convoluted challenge in the realm nanomedicine. Based on unprecedented achievements two-dimensional nanomaterials nearly all areas applied sciences particularly medicine, we carried out all-atom molecular dynamics simulations assess biologically important, yet unmapped issue biocompatibility 2D, hexagonal β -Si 3 N 4 nanosheet via investigating its possible cross interactions with both human serum albumin (HSA) and p53 tumor suppressor. Examining conventional MD indicators presence absence monolayer revealed that Si weakly binds these two proteins without inducing any dramatic change their secondary structures, revealing accordingly compatibility case it released as therapeutics or carriers vivo . This finding was also broadly supported by related time-dependent behaviors protein-monolayer well protein-water interaction energies.

With the advent of nanobiotechnology, there will be an increase in the interaction between engineered nanomaterials and biomolecules. Nanoconjugates with cells, organelles, and intracellular structures containing DNA, RNA, and proteins establish sequences of nano-bio boundaries that depend on several intricate complex biophysicochemical reactions. Given the complexity of these interactions, and...

In this proposal we seek to establish a porous silicon based etching process in the WTC microfabrication laboratory. The new process will allow us to etch high aspect ratio holes through a wafer. Holes like these are important for decreasing the dead volume of connections between micro and macro systems and for increasing the complexity of micro-fluidic systems. At the present time, the minimum...
متن کاملFabrication of 2D silicon nano-mold based on sidewall transfer
A method based on the sidewall transfer technique for fabricating two-dimensional (2D) nano-mold on a silicon substrate was developed. Instead of using expensive nanolithography, the authors fabricated 2D silicon nano-mold using standard ultraviolet lithography, conformal deposition of gold by radio frequency sputtering, argon sputter etching and deep reactive ion etching (DRIE). This technique...
