چکیده

The use of tissue-engineered products (TEP) from decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM) to treat deep skin lesions is a tissue engineering method that promotes regenerative healing. Cell-free preparations reproduce the hierarchical complexity tissues, mimic structural, biochemical and mechanical signals are necessary attract cells, source bioactive molecules. human umbilical cord biomaterial has fetal phenotype with extra-embryonic origin, therefore available no ethical limitations in its use. laboratory at Kirov Military Medical Academy developed patented TEP highly form hydrogel matrix. To study potential, lyophilisates solid-state matrices were implanted around mini pig fullthickness wounds vivo. external signs inflammatory response histological images biopsy specimens lyophilizate implantation areas analyzed. effect nutrient media, «conditioned» lyophilizates both matrices, on viability migration activity fibroblast-like isolated skin, was investigated. showed good biocompatibility bioactivity vitro vivo experiments. Implantation samples promoted faster formation mature epidermis compared control.

Immunogenicity of umbilical cord tissue derived cells.

Umbilical cord tissue provides a unique source of cells with potential for tissue repair. Umbilical cord tissue-derived cells (UTCs) are MHC class I (MHCI) dull and negative for MHC class II (MHCII), but can be activated to increase MHCI and to express MHCII with IFN-gamma stimulation. Mesenchymal stem cells with similar characteristics have been inferred to be nonimmunogenic; however, in most ...

Living patches engineered from human umbilical cord derived fibroblasts and endothelial progenitor cells.

OBJECTIVE A major shortcoming in contemporary congenital heart surgery is the lack of viable replacement materials with the capacity of growth and regeneration. Here we focused on living autologous patches engineered from human umbilical cord derived fibroblasts and endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) as a ready-to-use cell source for paediatric cardiovascular tissue engineering. METHODS EPCs...

Side-by-Side Comparison of the Biological Characteristics of Human Umbilical Cord and Adipose Tissue-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Both human adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs) and umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) have been explored as attractive mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) sources, but very few parallel comparative studies of these two cell types have been made. We designed a side-by-side comparative study by isolating MSCs from the adipose tissue and umbilical cords from mothers...

Umbilical Cord Tissue-Derived Cells as Therapeutic Agents

Although the characteristics of SC, including UC-derived cells, are a dramatically discussed issue, this review will focus particularly on some controversial issues regarding clinical utility of cells isolated from UC tissue. UC-derived cells have several advantages compared to other types and sources of stem cells. The impact of UC topography on cell characteristics is briefly discussed. The n...

Receptor expression and functional status of cultured human eosinophils derived from umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells.

Selective use of recombinant human cytokines has enabled the culture of large numbers of eosinophils from human cord blood mononuclear cells, raising the possibility of their use as a model of eosinophil function. Cultured eosinophils (CE) were compared with normal-density peripheral blood eosinophils (PBE) in terms of their membrane receptor expression and function. Fc gamma R and CR1 expressi...
