چکیده
The growing interest in biomimicry built environments highlights the awareness raised among designers on potentials nature offers to human and system function improvements. Biomimicry has been widely utilized advanced material technology. However, its potential sustainable architecture construction yet be discussed depth. Thus, this study a comprehensive review of use structural engineering. It also reviews methods which assists achieving efficient, environments. first part paper introduces concept historically practically, discusses design architecture, provides overview benefits explores how can building envelops. Then, second part, integration engineering is thoroughly explained through several case studies. Finally, architectural creating climate-sensitive energy-efficient explained.

Biomimicry : New Natures , New Enclosures
Advocates of biomimicry encourage a new industrial paradigm that ostensibly leaves behind the crude violence of Francis Bacon, the domination of nature-as-machine, and a history of toxic production processes that have given rise to a present and coming climate crisis. As part of a broader trend towards the conceptualization and development of a ‘bioeconomy’, we argue here that biomimicry produc...
متن کاملCharacterisation of Nature-Based Solutions for the Built Environment
Nature has provided humankind with food, fuel, and shelter throughout evolutionary history. However, in contemporary cities, many natural landscapes have become degraded and replaced with impermeable hard surfaces (e.g., roads, paving, car parks and buildings). The reversal of this trend is dynamic, complex and still in its infancy. There are many facets of urban greening initiatives involving ...
متن کاملstructural elements and the built environment
built environment does not “simply appear overnight, like a movie-set springing up on a vacant lot, but has to be producedâ€.thus, the first point in dealing with such an environment is considered to be the tracing of time in the evaluation of the city and keeping in mind that the whole is more than its parts. the last point becomes naturally understood when the process of city building is p...
متن کاملAspergillus subgenus Polypaecilum from the built environment
Xerophilic fungi, especially Aspergillus species, are prevalent in the built environment. In this study, we employed a combined culture-independent (454-pyrosequencing) and culture-dependent (dilution-to-extinction) approach to investigate the mycobiota of indoor dust collected from 93 buildings in 12 countries worldwide. High and low water activity (aw) media were used to capture mesophile and...
متن کاملCarsharing and the Built Environment
The term “carsharing” refers to a distinct business process wherein CSOs typically provide their members with short-term vehicle access from a network of unstaffed and distributed neighborhood locations. Members pay a flat hourly or per mile fee, or both, that includes fuel and insurance costs. These characteristics make carsharing distinct from car rental, through which vehicles are borrowed u...
