چکیده
The aim of this research is to remove malachite green (MG) from a created water environment utilising tamarind fruit shell (TFS) and fixed-bed reactor (FBR) technology at room temperature. Biosorption the finest method for dye removal among several approaches available. It produces excellent results may be used wide range colouring components. weigh different options firm things. option which balances other ones on various counts one. Various studies have found that eating green-contaminated fish poses major health risk people. From FBR studies, effect factors such as flow rate, initial sorbate concentration, biosorbent size, bed depth breakthrough MG assessed. study was carried out fix rates. This done by varying size with constant 30 cm. trend in rate variation appears similar 0.33 0.6 mm sizes, whereas 0.13 it slightly different. head loss swelling TFS particles are insignificant, during studies. estimated 30.9 T crude required get 8300 kg TFS. service time obtained design more than experimental time, calculated efficiency >90%. biosorption can well explained BDST approach. Acid regenerants 0.5 N H2SO4 HCl satisfactorily regenerate spent system, being better

Biosorption of Rhodamine B and Malachite green from aqueous solutions by Tamarindus indica fruit shells
The removal of rhodamine B and malachite green from aqueous solutions was studied in batch adsorption systems using Tamarindus Indica fruit shells as sorbents. The well known Freundlich, Langmuir and Redlich-Peterson isotherm equations were applied to the equilibrium sorption data obtained. The sorption dynamics were found to obey the pseudo-second order rate equation and particle diffusions ap...
متن کاملBiosorption of malachite green from aqueous solutions by Pleurotus ostreatus using Taguchi method
Dyes released into the environment have been posing a serious threat to natural ecosystems and aquatic life due to presence of heat, light, chemical and other exposures stable. In this study, the Pleurotus ostreatus (a macro-fungus) was used as a new biosorbent to study the biosorption of hazardous malachite green (MG) from aqueous solutions. The effective disposal of P. ostreatus is a meaningf...

متن کاملAdsorption of Malachite Green Dye from Aqueous Solutions Using Roots of Azolla Filiculoides
Pollution of water resources by various pollutants is nowadays a global environmental issue. Among the different type of water pollutants, dye represents a major polluting group. In this study, Azolla filiculides roots have been used for adsorption of Malachite Green (MG), a cationic dyed from aqueous solution. In this study, effects of operating parameters such as initial concentration of dye ...
