Photocatalysis process has emerged as a prompt method for wastewater treatment and microbial disinfection. The development of visible light active (VLA) photocatalysts, especially Blue LED (BLA) is challenge task the current research scenario towards pollutants degradation real treatment. Here, we have developed material which highly under LED. BiOX (X = I or Cl) modified Na-K2Ti6O13 with two concentrations was fabricated effectively utilized Acid Black 1 (AB 1) dye tetracycline (TCN) degradations TCN also performed white direct solar comparison, found that Na-K2Ti6O13/BiOX composite very efficient in than irradiation. higher activity confirmed by absorption via DRS measurements. bare almost no (?10 %) LED, while showed 99 % same condition AB degradation. stability tested against multiple runs. intermediates were analysed GC–MS, suitable pathways proposed. disinfection prepared could be effectivity used piolet industrial scale level effluent
