Boosting EFL Learners Critical Thinking through Guided Discovery: a Classroom- Oriented Research on First-Year Master Students

Critical thinking is widely recognized as a necessary skill for growth and intellectual development due to variety of factors, including globalization, the revolution information technology, modernity, connectivity. EFL teachers can lay groundwork their students attain critical through various methods, models, strategies. The present investigation suggests that teacher could promote learners’ guided discovery model instruction. Henceforth, current paper endeavors enlighten adequacy applying developing skills. It an experimental research investigates: how may contribute thinking? attempts examine utility learning in teaching process think critically about education they receive where has become readily available accessible. To this aim, 40 Master who took educational psychology courses were nominated from university center Naama, Algeria. researcher selected Peter Honey Thinking test focus group discussions data on students’ results demonstrated outperformed control group. more autonomous, reflect experiences, identify most useful Furthermore, analysis interviews revealed participants hold positive attitudes toward learning. They perceive it precious method enhance awareness value critically.
