Breathing solitons induced by collision in dipolar Bose–Einstein condensates

We numerically study the breathing dynamics induced by collision between bright solitons in one-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensates with strong dipole-dipole interaction. This phenomenon is closely related to after-collision short-lived attraction of dipolar effect. The initial phase difference leads asymmetric after collision, which manifested on their different amplitude, frequency, and atom number. clarify that asymmetry frequency directly number, rather than difference. Moreover, can produce new after-two-collision solitons, whose amplitude be adjusted reach maximum (or minimum) when peak-peak dip-dip) happens.
