Building Information Modeling-Embedded Building Energy Efficiency Protocol for a Sustainable Built Environment and Society

In order to accurately analyze the building energy consumption and identify problem of in advance, this study carries out analysis based on BIM (Building Information Modeling). The research object is a four-story college student dormitory Beijing, set BIM-based simulation data was obtained using standard operating procedures (SOP). This procedure can start conceptual design stage, developers participate real-time through use three-dimensional information model, without additional required. Then, comparing with traditional analysis, we see that SOP result has following advantages: function more professional, visual display method popular intuitive; due flexible file format SOP, when exchange required between different software, realize convenient operation, users problems early stage correcting scheme according results, which conducive development construction process. Finally, puts forward estimation stages life cycle, so as provide researchers ideas for improvement.
