چکیده

Abstract We extend the auxiliary-mass-flow (AMF) method originally developed for Feynman loop integration to calculate integrals which also involve phase-space integration. The flow of auxiliary mass from boundary ( ) physical point $0^+$?> is obtained by numerically solving differential equations with respective mass. For problems two or more kinematical invariants, AMF can be combined traditional differential-equation method, providing systematic conditions and a highly nontrivial self-consistency check. described in detail using pedagogical example $e^+e^-\rightarrow \gamma^* \rightarrow t\bar{t}+X$?> at NNLO. show that systematically efficiently high precision.

Automatic numerical integration methods for Feynman integrals through 3-loop

We give numerical integration results for Feynman loop diagrams through 3-loop such as those covered by Laporta [1]. The methods are based on automatic adaptive integration, using iterated integration and extrapolation with programs from the QUADPACK package, or multivariate techniques from the ParInt package. The Dqags algorithm from QUADPACK accommodates boundary singularities of fairly gener...

Why Feynman Path Integration?

To describe physics properly, we need to take into account quantum effects. Thus, for every nonquantum physical theory, we must come up with an appropriate quantum theory. A traditional approach is to replace all the scalars in the classical description of this theory by the corresponding operators. The problem with the above approach is that due to non-commutativity of the quantum operators, t...

Algorithmic Calculation of Two-loop Feynman Diagrams *

In a recent paper [1] a new powerful method to calculate Feynman diagrams was proposed. It consists in setting up a Taylor series expansion in the external momenta squared. The Taylor coefficients are obtained from the original diagram by differentiation and putting the external momenta equal to zero. It was demonstrated that by a certain conformal mapping and subsequent resummation by means of...

Building Data Integration Systems via Mass Collaboration

Building data integration systems today is largely done by hand, in a very labor-intensive and error-prone process. In this paper we describe a conceptually new solution to this problem: that of mass collaboration. The basic idea is to think about a data integration system as having a finite set of parameters whose values must be set. To build such a system the system administrators construct a...
