Challenges for Teachers’ and Students’ Digital Abilities: A Mixed Methods Design Study

Digital education is a recently highlighted challenge for educational innovation. This study aimed to discover the conditions in which teachers and students may be involved during pandemic, how these affect teachers’ workload quality. A Mixed Methods Design was used, where quantitative qualitative data were obtained analyzed. An ad hoc questionnaire created sent of different levels (pre-university) types school (public private). Predictive variables working hours analyzed by carrying out multiple regression. Moreover, changes experienced studied analyzing data. The type teaching, students’ access electronic resources, instant training online teaching predicted hours. Furthermore, participants cited having being overwhelmed this period, less contact with students, experiencing environment as most important affecting new conditions.
