چکیده
In this work, a compact, inexpensive, and efficient dual band microwave sensor is proposed. The based on two Complementary Symmetric Split-Ring Resonators (CSSRRs) possesses high $Q$ factor wide sensing range. These CSSRRs are coupled electrically with inductive patches to the Microstrip Transmission Line (MTL). This combination provides bands, first at 5.35 GHz notch depth of -55.20 dB second 7.99 -22.54 dB. works in transmission mode senses shift frequency. Some commonly available dielectric substrates relative permittivity ranges between 1 12 considered Material Under Test (MUT), detailed sensitivity analysis being performed for each band. fabricated low-cost, widely FR4 substrate measured by CEYEAR AV3672D vector network analyzer. Additionally, least square curve fitting method used develop mathematical model results. An excellent agreement observed simulated, measured, formulated

Dual-band and Enhanced Band Fss Characterization Using Wcip Method
Wave concept iterative procedure (WCIP) is used to analyze dual-band and enhanced band frequency selective surfaces (FSS). In the metallic U-shaped simple FSS, a fine-tune of the two rejected bands is insured by varying independently the length of the two parallel U-shaped FSS strips. The dual band response can also be obtained from the two-level rectangular conducting patches FSS. An enhanced ...
متن کاملEmbedded Dual band Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna
A compact dual-band antenna made of high dielectric constant substrate is studied. Embedding a higher dielectric cylindrical inside the substrate host cylindrical enhances the dual-band behaviour. The first part displays the characteristics of single CRDA as return loss, bandwidth and radiation pattern, then, the second part describes the aim of using an antenna, composed by the arrangement of ...
متن کاملWaveguide Characterization of S-Band Microwave Mantle Cloaks for Dielectric and Conducting Objects
We present the experimental characterization of mantle cloaks designed so as to minimize the electromagnetic scattering of moderately-sized dielectric and conducting cylinders at S-band microwave frequencies. Our experimental setup is based on a parallel-plate waveguide system, which emulates a two-dimensional plane-wave scattering scenario, and allows the collection of near-field maps as well ...
متن کاملDielectric properties of soils at X-band microwave frequency
Measurements of real (ε′) and imaginary (ε’’) parts of the complex dielectric constant (ε*) of soil with varied moisture content have been made at 9.44 GHz using infinite sample method. The electrical properties of dry soil samples are found to be in good agreement with the earlier work. The values of ε′ and ε′′ first increase slowly and then increase rapidly with moisture content. From this da...
