In this study, the chassis design target setting for a high-performance car was performed using virtual prototype to solve problem of increasing complexity vehicle development. To achieve efficient handling performance Hyundai Avante N, vehicle, kinematic and compliance (K&C) characteristics corresponding were set prior process simulation, thereby facilitating systematic development actual vehicle. order overcome limitations existing research apply it mass-production vehicles, following major tasks performed. The first is quantitative factors that match sensibility evaluation. second building model ensure consistency in predictions. third optimizing goal. When all optimization results applied, average items increased by 0.5 points standard deviation improved 0.4 compared Civic Type-R, which best. case final specification considering constraints, 0.1 point Type-R. Therefore, systems could goal be established design. Using development, possible eliminate trial error test cars needed. This save more than 500,000 USD (per unit trim) vehicles.
