Citrus Appearance Quality Grading System Based on OpenCV Image Processing

The production technology of Citrus in China is still at the initial stage development, and classification mainly depends on manual work, which subjective inefficient. To solve problem time-consuming, laborious low efficiency citrus classification, this paper uses OpenCV image processing technology, Candy edge detection operator for DP algorithm contour extraction to find two points with largest distance achieve diameter detection; RGB color space converted into HSV space, parameters H component are extracted obtain coloring rate, thus realizing appearance quality grading system. experiment proves that accuracy more than 99%, reducing artificial deviation.
