• Involvement of laypersons in clinical intelligibility assessment is needed. Crowdsourcing a way to involve dysarthria assessment. Excessive variability crowd scores constrained by weighted aggregation. Cost-benefit considerations suggest panels 9 listeners. The proposed method immunizes crowd-based against spamming. Cognitive flexibility the ability adapt thoughts and behaviors new environments. Previous studies investigating cognitive children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) present contradictory findings. In current study, was assessed 5- 6-year-old preschoolers DLD ( n = 23) peers typical development (TD; 50) using nonexistent object drawing (NEOD) task. were asked draw man house. did not differ from their TD on simple category changes, which comprised changes size or shape parts object, change whole deletion object. Nevertheless, made fewer more complex, high-level included same-category insertions, position exchange object's parts, cross-category insertions. difference between related differences two groups verbal short-term memory inhibition. Furthermore, no original drawings an existing house often than TD. It concluded that aged 5–6 years show less NEOD task age-matched This may be lower levels inhibition DLD, different use these skills

Using high-resolution in-vivo magnetic resonance morphometry of the midsagittal area of the corpus callosum (CC) and four callosal subareas in 21 children with developmental language disorder (DLD) of the phonologic-syntactic type we found no significant anatomical differences in comparison to an age- and gender-matched normal control group. There was also no significant between-group differenc...
