Collaborative Cloud and Edge Mobile Computing in C-RAN Systems With Minimal End-to-End Latency

چکیده
Mobile cloud and edge computing protocols make it possible to offer computationally heavy applications mobile devices via computational offloading from nearby servers or more powerful, but remote, servers. Previous work assumed that tasks can be fractionally offloaded at both processor (CP) a local node (EN) within conventional Distributed Radio Access Network (D-RAN) relies on non-cooperative ENs equipped with one-way uplink fronthaul connection the cloud. In this paper, we propose integrate collaborative fractional across CP Cloud RAN (C-RAN) architecture finite-capacity two-way links. Accordingly, by device partially carried out an EN CP, multiple communicating common exchange data outcomes while allowing for centralized precoding decoding. Unlike prior work, investigate joint optimization of communication resources, including wireless segments, minimize end-to-end latency accounting downlink transmission. The problem is tackled using programming (FP) matrix FP. Extensive numerical results validate performance gain proposed as compared previously studied D-RAN solution.

Brokering SLAs for End-to-End QoS in Cloud Computing
In this paper, we present a brokering logic for providing precise end-to-end QoS levels to cloud applications distributed across a number of different business actors, such as network service providers (NSP) and cloud providers (CSP). The broker composes a number of available offerings from each provider, in a way that respects the QoS application constraints while minimizing costs incurred by ...
متن کاملComparison of nerve repair with end to end, end to side with window and end to side without window methods in lower extremity of rat
Abstract Background : Although, different studies on end-to-side nerve repair, results are controversial. The importance of this method in case is unavailability of proximal nerve. In this method, donor nerves also remain intact and without injury. In compare to other classic procedures, end-to-side repair is not much time consuming and needs less dissection. Overall, the previous studies i...
متن کاملLatency Meter: A device to measure end-to-end latency of VE systems
The effectiveness of virtual environment systems depends critically on the end-to-end delay between the user's motion and the update of the display. When the user moves, the graphics system must update the images on the display to reflect the proper projection of the virtual world on their field of vision. Significant delay in this update is perceived as swimming of the virtual world; objects i...
متن کاملEnd-to-End Stochastic Computing
Embedded systems that require high performance hardware for signal processing, optimization, and control have historically relied on optimized fixed-point algorithms deployed on low-power microprocessors and/or digital signal processors. However, the sensing and actuation interfaces in such systems increasingly rely on oversampled, single-bit sigma-deltamodulated (SDM) representations of data i...
متن کاملEnd-to-end latency and temporal consistency analysis in networked real-time systems
Critical embedded systems are often designed as a set of real-time tasks, running on shared computing modules, and communicating through networks. Because of their critical nature, such systems have to meet strict timing properties. To help the designers to prove the correctness of their system, the real-time systems community has developed numerous approaches for analysing the worst case scena...
