Colvis—A Structured Annotation Acquisition System for Data Visualization

Annotations produced by analysts during the exploration of a data visualization are precious source knowledge. Harnessing this knowledge requires thorough structure annotations, but also means to acquire them without harming user engagement. The main contribution article is method, taking form an interface, that offers comprehensive “subject-verb-complement” set steps for take and seamlessly translate these annotations within prior classification framework. Technical considerations integral part study: through concrete web implementation, we prove feasibility our highlight some unresolved challenges remain be addressed.
