Common Envelope Jet Supernova r-process Yields Can Reproduce [Eu/Fe] Abundance Evolution in the Galaxy

چکیده
We use a numerical Galactic chemical evolution model and find that the common envelope jets supernova (CEJSN) r-process scenario can account for both very early average ratio of europium to iron its at later times in Milky-Way (MW) Galaxy. In CEJSN neutron star (NS) spirals-in inside red supergiant (RSG) all way core destroys it. According this isotopes are nucleosynthesized neutron-rich accretion disk around NS launches core. The merger with an RSG already takes place young conclude CEJSNe be major contributor nucleosynthesis.

The yields of r - process elements and chemical evolution of the Galaxy
The supernova yields of r-process elements are obtained as a function of the mass of their progenitor stars from the abundance patterns of extremely metalpoor stars on the left-side [Ba/Mg]-[Mg/H] boundary with a procedure proposed by Tsujimoto and Shigeyama. The ejected masses of r-process elements associated with stars of progenitor massMms ≤ 18M⊙ are infertile sources and the SNe II with 20M...
متن کاملR-process Abundance Signatures
Abundance observations indicate the presence of rapid-neutron capture (i.e., rprocess) elements in old Galactic halo and globular cluster stars. These observations demonstrate that the earliest generations of stars in the Galaxy, responsible for neutron-capture synthesis and the progenitors of the halo stars, were rapidly evolving. Abundance comparisons among large numbers of stars provide clue...
متن کاملCommon Envelope Evolution
The common envelope phase of binary star evolution plays a central role in many evolutionary pathways leading to the formation of compact objects in short period systems. Using three dimensional hydrodynamical computations, we review the major features of this evolutionary phase, focusing on the conditions that lead to the successful ejection of the envelope and, hence, survival of the system a...
متن کاملCommon Envelope Evolution Redux
Common envelopes form in dynamical time scale mass exchange, when the envelope of a donor star engulfs a much denser companion, and the core of the donor plus the dense companion star spiral inward through this dissipative envelope. As conceived by Paczynski and Ostriker, this process must be responsible for the creation of short-period binaries with degenerate components, and, indeed, it has p...
متن کاملCommon envelope evolution
Many binary star systems are not wide enough to contain the progenitor stars from which they were made. One explanation for this is that when one star becomes a red giant a common envelope forms around both stars in the binary system. The core of the giant and its companion star continue to orbit one another inside the envelope. Frictional energy deposited into the common envelope may lead to i...
