چکیده
Introduction These days, the need for more information and familiarity with inflammatory response to different anesthetic drugs increase. Not only some patients suffering from immune reactions against drugs, but all surgical are liable decrease in immunity postoperatively. This may increase postoperative morbidity mortality, affects healing, spread of tumors is due surgery trauma causing imbalance cytokine response. Patients methods article was written on 40 patients, were randomly classified into four equal classes. Class A: inhalational anesthesia major operation. B: intravenous C: minor D: Results The authors found that proinflammatory [interleukin (IL)-6] levels postoperatively classes higher than operation Anti-inflammatory (IL-10) increases slightly anesthesia, especially after 24 h postoperatively, We also noticed a correlation between cortisol level IL-6 levels, this means an which shows slight level. Conclusion Inhalational had highest effect induce operations whether or

General Anesthesia: Intravenous and Inhalational Agents
Anesthesia usually involves a loss of memory and awareness, along with insensitivity to painful stimuli, during a surgical procedure. Many drugs aid anesthesiologists in the management and comfort of their patients during the perioperative period. These compounds vary in their chemical and physical characteristics and in their usual routes of administration. There are inhalational agents, inclu...
متن کاملComparison of Anesthesia with Sevoflurane and Propofol on Extubation time and Recovery Parameters During Cataract Surgery
Background: One of the most common outpatient surgeries is cataract surgery which requires a short anesthesia with fast recovery time providing minimal complications. This study aimed to compare sevoflurane with propofol in terms of extubation time and recovery parameters in patients undergoing cataract surgery. Materials and Methods: This randomized controlled clinical trial recruited 60 ...
متن کاملThe Comparison of the Effects of Sevoflurane Inhalation Anesthesia and Intravenous Propofol Anesthesia on Oxidative Stress in One Lung Ventilation
BACKGROUND The aim of this study is to compare the effects of sevoflurane and propofol on one lung ventilation (OLV) induced ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) by determining the blood gas, ischemia-modified albumin (IMA), and malonyldialdehyde (MDA). MATERIAL AND METHODS Forty-four patients undergoing thoracic surgery with OLV were randomized in two groups (sevoflurane Group S, propofol Group...
متن کاملHemodynamic differences in sevoflurane versus propofol anesthesia.
The aim of the study was to compare the effect of sevoflurane and propofol anesthesia on myocardial contractility during laparotomic cholecystectomy using transesophageal echo-Doppler. In the study, 40 patients were randomized into two groups, depending on whether they received sevoflurane or propofol anesthesia. Heart rate, cardiac index, stroke volume, left ventricular ejection time and accel...
متن کاملAnesthesia with Propofol versus Sevoflurane: Does the Longer Neuromuscular Block under Sevoflurane Anesthesia Reduce Laryngeal Injuries?
Anesthesia can be maintained with propofol or sevoflurane. Volatile anesthetics increase neuromuscular block of muscle relaxants. We tested the hypothesis, that sevoflurane would cause less vocal cord injuries than an intravenous anesthesia with propofol. In this prospective trial, 65 patients were randomized in 2 groups: SEVO group, anesthesia with sevoflurane, and TIVA group, total intravenou...
