Comparative Study of Silicone-based Soft Liner Versus Versacryl Liner for Mandibular Complete Denture Cases (Randomized Clinical Trial)

A randomized clinical trial was carried out to compare between conventional silicone-based soft liner and Versacryl lining material for the relining of mandibular complete dentures in flat cases regarding oral health related quality life tissue keratinization index. Twenty-eight patients were distributed randomly into two groups (fourteen per group). After taking impression their existing dentures, control group received silicone based liner, while intervention material. Patients evaluated at weeks, months four intervals. The results showed a significant difference weeks as relined provided better improvement life, there no groups. This study also parakeratization activity all follow up periods with highest mean score Molloplast-B group.
