Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) strategy is one of the major parameters affecting efficiency in photovoltaic (PV) systems. In this paper, distributed MPPT approaches are compared with central mode MPPT. Advantages and disadvantages submodule level technique module approach shown simulation studies.
