Complaints of Low Back Pain in Tailors

Low back pain (LBP) is one of the musculoskeletal disorders as a result incorrect ergonomics. The impact caused by low bad posture, stiffness, pinched nerve, and muscle weakness. This study aims to determine relationship between ages, years service, length sitting, work chair’s ergonomics with complaints in tailors at Pasar Petisah, Kota Medan, 35 workers based on inclusion exclusion criteria. research tools are interviews, observations, filling out questionnaires. sampling technique used purposive methods. Data were analyzed using STATCAL application 5% chi-square test. Based result, we concluded that there long ages (p=0,02), service (p=0,04), sitting (p=0,01), posture (p=0,03) occurrence tailors. Tailors Petisah Market Medan City risk for age, risky posture. If ignore pain, emergence serious problems such stiffness spine, fractures, nerves, can even cause death.
