The stability of axially loaded steel columns with compact rectangular hollow sections at elevated temperatures is studied in this paper. current Eurocode model for checking the buckling resistance fire was developed on a similar basis to that ambient conditions. Due effect complex non-linear behaviour fire, standard design not always fully appropriate, and certain parameter ranges may give unsafe results. In work, an analytical method determine proposed, accounting variable stiffness properties which have significant effects flexural fire. A finite element developed, extensive numerical study performed explore different parameters behaviours temperatures. proposed validated by comparing performance results model.
