The article discusses the characteristics and functions of modern systems for computer-aided design submicron microcircuits. main developers this class are Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics Synopsys. paper analyzes in sufficient detail composition functionality software tools development electronic equipment provided by these companies allowing solving functionally different tasks within framework VLSI route. electrophysical effects level analyzed, which include dynamic associated with parasitic parameters, crosstalk, signal stability, ohmic busbar voltage drop, electromigration, local heating crystal.
