Axion-like particles (ALPs), a class of pseudoscalars common to many extensions the Standard Model, have capacity drain energy from interiors stars. Consequently, stellar evolution can be used derive constraints on ALPs. We study influence that keV-MeV scale ALPs which interact exclusively with photons exert helium-burning shells asymptotic giant branch stars, late-life evolutionary phase stars initial masses less than $8M_{\odot}$. establish sensitivity final mass such energy-loss for currently permitted by bounds. A semi-empirical constraint white dwarf initial-final relation (IFMR) derived observation double binaries is then exclude part unconstrained region ALP parameter space, cosmological triangle.
