Constraining off-shell production of axionlike particles with <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>Z</mml:mi><mml:mi>γ</mml:mi></mml:math> and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>W</mml:mi><mml:mi>W</mml:mi></mml:math> differential cross-section measurements

چکیده

This article describes a search for low-mass axionlike particles (ALPs) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). If ALPs were produced LHC via gluon-gluon fusion and decayed to bosons, energy dependence of measured diboson cross-sections would differ from Standard Model expectation. Measurements $WW$ $Z\ensuremath{\gamma}$ differential cross sections by ATLAS collaboration are interpreted constrain ALP couplings $W$-, $Z$-bosons photons assuming gluon-gluon-fusion production.
