In the five-phase induction machine (IM), it is possible to better use electromagnetic circuit than in three-phase IM. This requires of an adequate converter system which will be supplied by machine. The electric drive described, this article, includes current source inverter (CSI). proposed novelty—not presented previously—is control structures for IM, CSI. systems allow independent IM state variables first and second plane inject third harmonic.
