چکیده
In this paper, we propose and study the uniaxial perfectly matched layer (PML) method for three-dimensional time-domain electromagnetic scattering problems, which has a great advantage over spherical one in dealing with problems involving anisotropic scatterers. The truncated PML problem is proved to be well-posed stable, based on Laplace transform technique energy method. Moreover, L 2 -norm ? error estimates time are given between solutions of original problem, leading exponential convergence terms thickness absorbing parameters layer. proof depends analysis EtM operators different from our previous work (Wei et al . Long-Time Stability and Convergence of the Uniaxial Perfectly Matched Layer Method for Time-Domain Acoustic Scattering Problems
The uniaxial perfectly matched layer (PML) method uses rectangular domain to define the PML problem and thus provides greater flexibility and efficiency in dealing with problems involving anisotropic scatterers. In this paper we first derive the uniaxial PML method for solving the time-domain scattering problem based on the Laplace transform and the complex coordinate stretching in the frequenc...

Abstract. In this paper, we propose a uniaxial perfectly matched layer (PML) method for solving the time-harmonic scattering problems in layered media. The exterior region of the scatterer is divided into two half spaces by an infinite plane, on two sides of which the wave number takes different values. We surround the computational domain where the scattering field is interested by a PML layer...

A simple preconditioned domain decomposition method for electromagnetic scattering problems
We present a domain decomposition method (DDM) devoted to the iterative solution of time-harmonic electromagnetic scattering problems, involving large and resonant cavities. This DDM uses the electric field integral equation (EFIE) for the solution of Maxwell problems in both interior and exterior subdomains, and we propose a simple preconditioner for the global method, based on the single laye...
