COST-EFFECTIVE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS STRATEGY IN OPTIMIZATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC FOR GRID-CONNECTED SYSTEM

Renewable Energy Source (RES) based Distributed Generation (DG) like Photovoltaic (PV) is widely integrated into the distribution network, particularly for residential. With proper planning, installation of optimal PV in network capable minimizing dependency on power grid generation. However, optimum use solar energy has been limited by weather and load variation. At particular time, generated output not fully utilized during minimum load. The excessive generation occurs causes an increase cost electricity consumption. Therefore, purpose this paper to optimize size grid-connected system considering Battery Storage System (BESS) Management (EMS) Strategy order reduce BESS introduced store excess peak hours, while cost-effective EMS strategy proposed ensure RES employed. number panels optimized using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique. implementation PSO optimising can 21% compared conventional method.
