The reaction pathways of transient radical species are difficult to control, like the soap bubbles in wind depicted cover image. Yet, these short-lived intermediates, when one encounters another, readily assemble into a united structure, as two fuse bigger single bubble. enol silyl ether-derived cations with highly acidic allylic proton facilitates single-electron reduction cyanopyridines via protonation. resulting intermediates successively engage radical−radical coupling produce heteroarylated ethers.
