COVID-19 pandemic: Towards a blue recovery in small island developing states

Small island developing states (SIDS) are among the most vulnerable countries to impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, which is disrupting key economic sectors that SIDS’ undiversified and already fragile economies strongly rely upon. While they succeeding contain health emergency, SIDS faced with severe require bold government action adequate international support. This policy brief: (i) highlights pandemic across SIDS; (ii) provides an overview support delivered by development co-operation providers face crisis; (iii) suggestions ensure can lead a fast sustainable recovery in SIDS: ‘blue’ recovery.
