Curing kinetics, mechanical properties and thermomechanical analysis of carbon fiber/epoxy resin laminates with different ply orientations

چکیده

A carbon fiber/epoxy resin prepreg was tested by DSC, and the phenomenological nth-order autocatalytic reaction curing kinetic models of were established. On this basis, optimum process obtained. In addition, in order to explore effect ply parameters on mechanical properties laminates, thermomechanical laminates [0]10, [+ 45/ − 45]5s [0/90]5s, prepared compression molding, investigated. The results show that model agrees well with DSC curves obtained from experimental data. is 130 °C /60 + 160 °C/30 min. flexural impact strength [0]10 are higher than [0/90]5s laminates. glass transition temperature (Tg) 142–146 °C, loss factor laminate significantly [0/90]5 s great differences mainly due different amounts 0° fibers, which lead bearing deformation capacity under external force.
