Curious Variables Experiment (CURVE): SDSS J210014.12+004446.0 - dwarf nova with negative and positive superhumps
We report the results of 67 hours of CCD photometry of the recently discovered dwarf nova SDSS J210014.12+004446.0 (SDSS J2100). The data were obtained on 24 nights spanning a month. During this time we observed four ordinary outbursts lasting about 2-3 days and reaching an amplitude of ∼1.7 mag. On all nights our light curve revealed persistent modulation with the stable period of 0.081088(3) ...
متن کاملCURious Variables Experiment (CURVE): CCD photometry of active dwarf nova DI Ursae Majoris
Context. We report an analysis of photometric behaviour of DI UMa, an extremely active dwarf nova. The observational campaign (completed in 2007) covers five superoutbursts and four normal outbursts. Aims. We examined principal parameters of the system to understand peculiarities of DI UMa, and other active cataclysmic variables. Methods. Based on precise photometric measurements, temporal ligh...

Context. We report an analysis of photometric behaviour of DI UMa – an extremaly active dwarf nova. The observational campaign (carried on in 2007) covers five superoutbursts and four normal outbursts. Aims. We examined principal parameters of the system in order to understand peculiarities of DI UMa, and other most active cataclysmic variables. Methods. Based on precise photometric measurement...
متن کاملSuperhumps in a Peculiar SU UMa-Type Dwarf Nova ER Ursae Majoris
We report the photometry of a peculiar SU UMa-type dwarf nova — ER UMa for ten nights during 1998 December and 1999 March covering a complete rise to the supermaximum and a normal outburst cycle. Superhumps have been found during the rise to the superoutburst. A negative superhump appeared in Dec.22 light curve, while the superhump on the next night became positive and had large amplitude and d...
متن کاملSgr and searching for superhumps in nova remnants
Aims. We present the period analysis of unfiltered photometric observations of V5116 Sgr (Nova Sgr 2005 #2) and we search for superhump candidates in novae remnants. Methods. The PDM method for period analysis is used. The masses of the novae componets are estimated from the secondary mass – orbital period and primary mass – decline time relations. Results. We found that 13 nights of V5116 Sgr ...
