Current Trends in Random Walks on Random Lattices

چکیده

In a classical random walk model, walker moves through deterministic d-dimensional integer lattice in one step at time, without drifting any direction. more advanced setting, randomly over configured (non equidistant) jumping number of steps. some further variants, there is limited access walker’s moves. That is, the movements are not available real time. Instead, observations to epochs resulting delayed information about real-time position walker, its escape and location outside bounded subset space. this case we target virtual first passage (or escape) Thus, unlike standard problems, rather than crossing boundary, deal with arbitrarily distant from boundary. paper, give short historical background on walk, discuss various directions development theory, survey most our results obtained last 25–30 years, including very recent ones dated 2020–21. Among different applications such walks, stock markets, stochastic networks, games, queueing.

Transient random walks on 2d-oriented lattices

We study the asymptotic behavior of the simple random walk on oriented versions of Z2. The considered lattices are not directed on the vertical axis but unidirectional on the horizontal one, with random orientations whose distributions are generated by a dynamical system. We find a sufficient condition on the smoothness of the generation for the transience of the simple random walk on almost ev...

Random and deterministic walks on lattices

Random walks of particles on a lattice are a classical paradigm for the microscopic mechanism underlying diffusive processes. In deterministic walks, the role of space and time can be reversed, and the microscopic dynamics can produce quite different types of behavior such as directed propagation and organization, which appears to be generic behaviors encountered in an important class of system...

Random walks on FKG-horizontally oriented lattices

We study the asymptotic behavior of the simple random walk on oriented versions of Z. The considered lattices are not directed on the vertical axis but unidirectional on the horizontal one, with symmetric random orientations which are positively correlated. We prove that the simple random walk is transient and also prove a functional limit theorem in the space D([0,∞[, R) of càdlàg functions, w...

Random Walks on Random Graphs

The aim of this article is to discuss some of the notions and applications of random walks on finite graphs, especially as they apply to random graphs. In this section we give some basic definitions, in Section 2 we review applications of random walks in computer science, and in Section 3 we focus on walks in random graphs. Given a graphG = (V,E), let dG(v) denote the degree of vertex v for all...

Random walk on random walks

In this paper we study a random walk in a one-dimensional dynamic random environment consisting of a collection of independent particles performing simple symmetric random walks in a Poisson equilibrium with density ρ ∈ (0,∞). At each step the random walk performs a nearest-neighbour jump, moving to the right with probability p◦ when it is on a vacant site and probability p• when it is on an oc...
