Decision Tree Prediction Model in Patient Mortality Rate based on Risk Factors

The Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has become a global problem since WHO declared pandemic in 2020. number of deaths due to Covid-19 increased significantly many countries. This study aimed implement decision tree modeling represent the relationship between risk factors and mortality rate patients. analyzed secondary data 83,024 Covid patients from January 2020 June 2021. Data processing used mining with classification method. results showed that comorbidity is leading factor for death which then influenced by age. higher age group comorbidities, death. Suggested health services can utilize this prevent severity infection. Such as development comorbid awareness programs community-based education on managing comorbidities.
