Strain-mediated multiferroic composite structures are gaining scientific and technological attractions because of the promise low power consumption greater flexibility in material geometry choices. In here, direct magnetoelectric coupling coefficient (DME) cylinders, consisted two mechanically bonded concentric was analytically modeled under influence a radially emanating magnetic field. The analysis framework emphasized effects shear lag demagnetization on overall performance. effect proven to have no bearing DME since it has induced radial displacement due conditions imposed cylinder. also thoroughly considered as function mechanical boundary conditions, geometrical dimensions cylinder, introduction thin elastic layer at interface between inner piezomagnetic outer piezoelectric cylinders. results indicate that adversely impacted 70% 86%. trial compensate for reduction peak presence demagnetization, non-dimensional carried out identify attributes corresponding maximum DME.
