Design and Analysis of Electromagnetic Quasi-zero Stiffness Vibration Isolator

Abstract Introduction To improve the low frequency isolation capability of vibration system, a kind electromagnetic quasi-zero-stiffness (QZS) isolator was designed. Materials and methods The negative stiffness spring paralleled with linear positive to achieve state QZS. nonlinear dynamic model established. Through combination theoretical formula simulation analysis, force expression obtained. amplitude-frequency responsecharacteristics transmissibility solved by harmonic balance method, effects system parameters on amplitude - characteristics analyzed. Conclusion results show that new has better performance than decreased damping ratio excitation make superior.
