Design and Low-Temperature Performance Evaluation of High-Modulus Co-Modified Asphalt Mixes with Rock Asphalt/Rubber Powder

High-modulus asphalt mixes are effective means to solve rutting problems, but they perform poorly at low temperatures. This study aims enhance the modulus and low-temperature properties of mixes. Firstly, composite-modified asphalts were prepared by incorporating rubber powder rock asphalt. Secondly, their mechanical viscoelastic investigated determine appropriate mass ratios in be 20% 6%, respectively. The results show that both can softening point viscosity basic while reducing penetration. Furthermore, combination significantly improves high-temperature performance material. It is noteworthy also weakening for mixtures Finally, this employs dynamic static tests, beam bending tests clarify road indicate have high-modulus water damage resistance considering acceptable performance. paper not only enhances adaptability different environments expands its application range.
