Design of a model reference adaptive PID control algorithm for a tank system

چکیده

This paper describes the design of an adaptive controller based on model reference PID control (MRAPIDC) to stabilize a two-tank process when large variations parameters and external disturbances affect closed-loop system. To achieve that, innovative structure is defined, additional PI designed make sure that produces stable output signals three gains are included guarantee stability robustness Then, performance behaviour system compared MATLAB both systems under various conditions. The results demonstrate MRAPIDC performs significantly better than conventional controller.
